About Smith Mallets

20 years ago Robb Smith began making mallets while in college for himself as a hobby and also because name brand mallets are so very expensive. After a short time fellow percussionists and friends grew interested in buying the mallets which led to the start of "Smith Mallets". The business was marketed solely by word-of-mouth and in time the mallets made their way into the hands of students at many Colleges and Universities world wide.
